Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at 734-315-0073 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Rubber Wheel dumpsters are used by homeowners and contractors for many different projects. They’re ideal for everything from heavy debris removal to event cleanup. Common uses include home or office cleanouts, renovations, demolition, construction projects, landscaping, and more.

Payment for your dumpster is taken when you place your order, so there’s nothing to worry about later. In some cases, additional charges can come up—like going over the weight limit or tossing in restricted items. These fees aren’t always immediate, since we have to wait for final paperwork from the landfill and our drivers, which can take up to 7 days. If anything extra applies, we’ll reach out as soon as everything is confirmed and walk you through the details.

You can toss most everyday debris into your dumpster rental without any problem. Things like household junk, yard waste, and common construction materials are all good to go. That said, there are a few prohibited items that can’t be placed in our dumpster—mainly flammable, toxic, or hazardous materials. These items can damage the dumpster or cause issues at the landfill, so they’ll need to be disposed of another way.

Yes, all of our dumpsters include a weight limit based on your project needs. Most projects fall between 1 and 5 tons, though our containers can safely handle up to 10 tons. If you’re unsure how much your debris may weigh, we’re happy to talk through your project and help you choose the right weight limit.

We’ll deliver your dumpster on your scheduled day, but the exact arrival time can vary. Our drivers plan routes for efficiency, so we’re not always able to give a specific time window. Just be sure the drop-off area is clear of cars or other obstacles for the entire day so delivery goes smoothly.

Your dumpster needs a flat, solid place to sit. For most home projects, the driveway works great. On job sites, a designated waste area is usually the best option. If space on your property is limited, we can also place the dumpster on the street—just let us know so we can plan accordingly.

When it’s time to load your dumpster, start with the big, heavy items first. Using the walk-in door makes this much easier and helps keep the weight balanced. Once those are in place, you can toss lighter debris over the sides. Just be sure everything stays level with the top of the container. If items are sticking up or hanging over the edges, we won’t be able to safely haul the dumpster away.
